Hi, I’m Jerrilyn.
Therapy with me feels human.
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a clinical interview. A space where you can laugh, cry, feel, be challenged, and show up exactly as you are. I’m not here to tell you who to become. I’m here to help you reconnect with who you are.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone else.
I believe so much of our healing happens when we begin to understand the ways we’ve learned to protect ourselves. The patterns we repeat, the relationships we find ourselves in, and the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to silence often have a story.
My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and helping you build a relationship with yourself that feels safe, honest, and deeply connected.
A little more about me.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom, a lover of good conversations, and someone who finds a lot of joy in the little things. You’ll often find me at Pure Barre, listening to music, laughing at something I probably shouldn’t, or finding another excuse to romanize an ordinary Tuesday.
I’m naturally curious about people, I love a little humor, and I appreciate conversations that go beyond the surface. I can be playful and lighthearted, but also value honesty, depth, and genuine connection.
I believe we can take life seriously without taking ourselves seriously all the time.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Nevada, and my work is grounded in attachment theory, nervous system awareness, and trauma-informed care.
My approach integrates somatic practices, polyvagal-informed principles, and emotionally focused work to help people better understand their emotional experiences, relationship patterns, and the ways they’ve learned to protect themselves.
I’m committed to continuing my education through specialized training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Polyvagal Theory, and EMDR. I believe being a good therapist means remaining curious, continually learning, and never assuming there’s only one way to heal.
The work behind the work.
You don’t have to figure it all out before reaching out.
Whether you’re ready to begin therapy or simply curious about what working together might look like, I’d love to connect. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to start. We can figure that part out together.
